These little cuties are quick to make from start to finish. All were done using a small gauge newborn baby booty loom.
RED HAT: (regular cuff) With one strand of Red Heart holiday yarn in the color of red... cast on and knit 10 rows single knit (1 over 1), turn it up for a cuff like you do with any larger hat, single knit 10 more rows and bind off with the gathering method. Be sure to leave a longer tail when removing from the yarn. With this "tail" you can add a little loop at the to of the hat for hanging.
RED/GREEN HAT: (purled cuff) With one strand of multi color yarn cast on and knit one row; purl 5 rows, knit 10 more rows and remove with the gathering method; add a loop at top for hanging.
GREEN/WHITE HAT: (rolled cuff) Cast on with white yarn and knit 6 rows, switch to green and knit 10 rows; remove with the gathering method. The beginning white will roll up and make a cute "cuff". Don't forget the loop.
RED/WHITE brim GREEN hat: This one was done by casting on and doing one row in white. Then add in the red yarn and wrap the odd number pegs with red, the even with white. Do this for 6 rows, and turn up for the cuff. Snip yarn, and knit 10 rows with green. Remove with the gathering method, add your loop, weave in yarn ends. I like doing the little hat with a "cuff" because it makes it easier to hide your yarn ends (IMO).Dress these cuties up by changing the color of your yarn, add a little pompom to the top, or even hang a little bell from the inside.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

These mini hats are so precious! What a wonderful christmas tree you made with them. I have looms now, and am hoping to learn how to make some things pretty quick.
