simple knit bookmark

Last night I made a simple knit bookmark. All I did was use size 4 needles, and some thin ribbon yarn...cast on 10 stitches. Rows 1 -4 knit / Row 5 K2, P6, K2 / Row 6 knit across. Repeat rows 5 and 6 for 38 rows. Rows 43 - 46 knit across. I added a simple tassel by snipping 6 6" pieces of the ribbon yarn, and hooking it through the center at the bottom edge of the bookmark. You could have fun with it and add some beads here.

I really enjoyed making this. It has me wanting to create more bookmark patterns. Maybe I'll start a bookmark collection!
