Kitchen item exchange

In the Loom Knitters Exchange group on Yahoo, we are currently doing a kitchen item exchange. For it I did a dishsoap bottle cover, and a scrubbie. You can read about the scrubbie below, or by clicking on the link to the right under free patterns. For the soap bottle cover, I made that up as I went along. Using a small gauge sock loom, and cotton yarn....25 rows of single knit. The 26th row was done by wrapping every other peg, and knitting off the pegs with two loops. Then knit 8 more rows single knit. Remove with the gathering method, but don't pull completly closed. You want to leave a little opening for over the top of the bottle. Weave in yarn ends. Then with a ribbon, or piece of yarn, weave in and out of that 26th row, and tie in a bow. WA LA a Dishsoap bottle cover.
