I just created a Facebook page to use for my crafty updates. Thought I would see if it might be easier for me to use. I will still use this blog from time to time though...so please stay a follower. Here is a link to my new Facebook page for crafts.

~ I'm going to work on updating this blog. If you have a blog, website, link ...whatever, that you think would make a good addition here... please share. Don't forget to "follow" me while you're here so you don't miss any updates. Right now I have a total of zero followers. LOL
~ Gordie is doing o/k. He has good days and bad, but he is still Gordie. He still has the Gordie attitude. It's not getting him down today.
~ Frazier and I are both on Christmas break now. No school or work until January 2nd! I transfered from East to the High School. Both nervous and excited about that one.
The COLTS game is on tv, and I'm going to start crocheting on a scarf. GO COLTS!

WOW~ I was messing around on the computer, decided to look at my old blog page. I just realized I hadn't posted here in a year! I do most of my playing on Facebook these days. Love the farming games there. I haven't been in a crafty frame of mind for a little while. Lots of other things have my mind occupied. Right now my craft projects are limited. I just did a loom knit booty slipper (pictures coming soon) as part of a loom a long in Addicted to Dishcloths...and an afghan that I started for Frazier several months ago. It got put down, and for whatever reason hasn't been picked up again. Gotta get back to that. Gotta get back to posting here more frequently too. It's good therapy to get a few thoughts out there!

COLTS bookmark
One of my most favorite things (as you can tell by my profile picture) is the Indianapolis COLTS. Here is a picture of a COLTS bookmark that I did over this past weekend. It was a great way to combine stitching and the COLTS. I like it! This one may get done a few times to give out to some fellow COLTS fans. I'd like to make one for my brother Steve with the BUCS logo on it. This one was done on 7 mesh canvas. I'm going to try and do one on 10 mesh this week sometime. The holes are smaller, so to follow the same pattern on the 10 canvas would make a smaller bookmark. You have to use floss instead of yarn too.
It's spring break week for Frazier!!! Yesterday we went to the movies and saw Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D. It was a really cute movie...amazing what 3D is like now a days.

other stuff
I guess you could say I've been kind of stuck on plastic canvas projects lately. I did get a needle knit gma cloth done about a week ago, and there is another on the needles now. I would also like to get a pair of giant needles and try to make a gma blanket from the same pattern. Susan said she would do it at the same time so we could encourage each other. For some reason I really need that with those bigger projects. When Susan gets back from her trip that's what is on the list. I'd also like to crochet a scarf in there some place. On the to do list is to get the craft area cleaned up and organized. Lots on the list, and so little time.

pc bookmarks
I've done 3 plastic canvas bookmarks lately and thought I would share them with you. They are fun to make, and really cute. But the more I think about it, these little cuties are pretty big for book marks. They really stick out far when in a book. I don't know how many more of these I will make. Please you to enjoy the pictures.
