I finished the August mid month kal in the Monthly Dishcloths Kal Yahoo group. Boy was my finger sore! LOL It was a little challenging, but definately fun. It's only the 2nd cable cloth I've ever done! I did the cloth at the same time as my friend Susan. It was a lot of fun doing the cloth with her. I think it got me to work a little faster. She's a long time knitter, but new to cables. We are thinking of doing the same pattern again, only with a varigated yarn this time.

2nd cable cloth
I finished the August mid month kal in the Monthly Dishcloths Kal Yahoo group. Boy was my finger sore! LOL It was a little challenging, but definately fun. It's only the 2nd cable cloth I've ever done! I did the cloth at the same time as my friend Susan. It was a lot of fun doing the cloth with her. I think it got me to work a little faster. Janice it looks great. I am still new to cables but at least I don;t run away from them fast anymore.
Janice did a great job on the cable cloth. I am the Susan she is referring to. We did do the verigated cable cloth together. It was lots of fun. In doing the cables together enabled me to go for the "gusto". I was one who said that I would NOT do cables. Now I love them. So doing things together is a great way to not be so intemidated by new stitches and just go for it. Give it a try, you will be surprised how fast you will learn.

It looks very nice! I might have to try that one again. I don't think mine looks as nice as everyone else's! It's pretty, even in the solid color.
