Shell Bookmark

I've been working on knitting a bookmark for a week now. It's extremly slow going for me because I'm using thread, and size 2 needles. I can only do 5 or 10 rows at a time before my eyes bug out! So I decided to see if there was a crocheted pattern out there that looked good. I found this one called a "Shell Bookmark"....grabbed a hook, a small ball of yarn, and in less that a half hour had a really cute bookmark. This may be my favorite bookmark pattern yet. Guess needle knitting something so fine just isn't in the cards for me, right now anyway.

These little bookmarks work up so fast, and would be a fantastic way to use up some of that scrap yarn. You could add one to any birthday card for an extra surprise. Everyone loves that extra special touch!
